FUNCTION: The function of J. B. Lynch's Exclusive Manufacturers Agency is to provide for example placing your products in  the biggest leading suitable Retail Outlets, Copyrighted In-Store Sales Promotions with major Department Store Chains, Bulk Cash-On-Delivery Sales and the opening of new Domestic and Foreign Sales Territories. All of our services are on Commission Only.

REMUNERATION: Here is how we save you money. Your average company Sales Rep is paid a basic salary, a commission on actual sales, his/her travelling, telephone, hotel and all other expenses. In addition you have to pay national insurance contributions, pay-roll taxes and salesman's salary during vacation or periods of illness. J. B. Lynch Manufacturers Agents on the other hand are paid commission only on the already fully paid orders coming from particular territories. A J. B. Lynch Sales Agent pays his own expenses, insurance, his/her own car and travel costs. This means a vast savings for the Principal having eliminated very substantial fixed overheads and incurs only a sales cost when results have been achieved.

STOCK CARRYING Many of our long established Principals ship quantities of their products to the Agent in various territory locations who sells these off over a week or so. This is also a help by enabling the Agent to actually bring product items into the buyers showroom which more often than not means a sale and repeat orders.

MULTIPLICITY OF PRODUCTS J. B. Lynch Manufacturers Agents handling more than the products of one manufacturer has an added advantage. Showing your unknown product at the same time as other top selling items is an ideal way to introduce your range. Many of our Agents have built up such a relationship with their customers that when they introduce a new product they obtain orders purely on the strength of the Agent's judgement and reliability in the past.

SEASONAL PRODUCTS Manufacturers, Principals, selling seasonal products find the cost of maintaining full-time sales force during off-season periods highly uneconomic and this cost is directly reflected in the profit and loss account. BULK CONSIGNMENT SALES This is another money raising operation a Principal's sales force can not be involved in due to the need for special connections. Consignment sales are used to sell off vast amounts of unwanted, unsaleable or unpaid for goods, also in the case of liquidations of retailers in debt.

PRODUCT CARRIAGE means the Principal ships directly to the J. B. Lynch Manufacturers Agents at the locations he is working. J. B. Lynch Agents sells the goods wholesale for cash on the spot and the Principal receives payment within 7days of sale. Ideal way of opening new wholesale accounts because the buyers know exactly what they are purchasing and this proves that the brands are of the fine quality we claim them to be.
